We interrupt this break...

I'm coming out of hibernation to let you guys know about another great contest. Marieke interviewed Elana Johnson on how to write a good query letter. For anyone whose struggling, this is some great advice. Also you can win a critique from Elana, who wouldn't want that.

Back to editing.

I don't know about coming out of hibernation - I'm just about to curl up with a good book and my computer, its soooo cold out there and its not yet the end of October.

I love hibernating. Now if only the day job would cooperate so I could do it...

That was an amazing interview. Elana's also doing an online session tonight. (I'm so techno challenged, I don't even know what to call this.) but check out Elana's site cause she talks about it.

I LOVE Elana Johnson's method. I actually do Nathan Bransford's "query letter madlib" first - it keeps me from falling into writing a short synopses. THEN I go to Elana's setup. She's pretty amazing.

Yay, Elana! She's so frickin' awesome. And the MASTER of queries.

Elana has great advice. A critique from her would be great.
