My computer is old and starting to show its age. The USB ports are wearing out, and I have to reset the keyboard every five minutes. Not a very productive way to edit or blog or do anything on my computer, so I'm taking the rest of week off.
Within the next two weeks we're getting a new laptop, which will make my husband's old one mine.
Good luck with your week and hope you get a lot accomplished. I'll be editing in five minute increments.
Happy belated Mother's Day.

Our desktop computer is a dinosaur, too. Takes FOREVER to do about anything.
Happy Belated Mother's Day! :)
Well, your laptop sounds like quite the workhorse. The good news is that when you get the new laptop you will get a lot of writing accomplished.
My USB ports are starting to freak on me too. Grrr.
Happy belated Mother's Day!
I could really use a new computer too! There are just so many other things that seem to come first. See you next week.
Yup, that would be frustrating.
Enjoy the time off. We'll see you when you return.
We're in the same boat!! I've been having so many computer problems lately! UGH!
*hugs*
BOO! Awesome that you're getting a new(old) one, though! Hurray for that!
I don't know what I'd do without my laptop. It's over a year old and was kinda cheap, though, so I have a feeling around year three or four, it's going to start really acting crazy.
I love my MacBook. I kinda wish I could afford to keep a spare, just in case. ;-) Hey, I gave you a blog award today. It is waiting for you at my site. Belated Happy Mother's Day to you, too!
Hello new here!
Happy Belated Mom's Day to you.
As the writer in the house I think you should lobby to get the new lappy. :)
Congrats on the new computer! I finally broke down and bought myself a new laptop last summer, and I've been loving it every since. As writers, the computer is a huge part of our lives, so it only makes sense to own one that works properly.
