This week my favorite thing is renewed determination.
I'm more determined to lose weight, so I don't get injured playing soccer.
I'm more determined to cook better meals.
I'm more determined to watch my budget.
I'm more determined to stretch and drink more water.
I'm more determined to spend less time watching TV, (especially sports).
I'm more determined to finish this stupid chapter seven about rescuing a girl from a dragon. I did some research today (thank heavens for youtube), and got more of a sense of setting. So that's definitely a favorite thing this week.
Since it's a long weekend, I'll be back on Tuesday.
How about you what was your favorite thing this week and is there anything that you're feeling more determined to do?

Good luck with your goals, Patti!
I'll piggy-back on your 'lose weight, cook better meals, watch my budget and drink more water' and add my own...I'm more determined to get in more than 1 run per week!!
Have a great Victorian Day Weekend - yay for the first sign of summer here in Canada :)
Determined to savor these days w/ my kidlets and to go slow-----er.

I've determined to stretch more too. I know I get so tight after running if I don't stretch, but I still put it off. sigh.
Good luck with your chapter. You CAN do it!
The only thing I think I'm determined to do this weekend is finish the novella I've been working on forever (it seems). It's dragging me down and making me crazy.
And more water is always good.
The best thing that happened this week was getting 90% on a maths test, and that really encouraged me to keep doing my best at everything at school.
The only other good thing is that it's now Friday night.
Glad to hear you had a good week.
Hope you reach your goals and have a great weekend.
As for me, it was my second son deciding he was going to stay over for two nights instead of one.
Go Patti! I need some determination today. I''m on the edge of finishing something and it's kicking my can. You can do it!
Patti, your renewed determinations are all mine too. Especially the water and the loosing weight. *sob* Why can't we all just eat yummy stuff and not get fat. Waahaaaaa. I bought new scales, cause I thought the old scales had to be broken. They weren't! WAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I'm glad you have the setting in your head. Now get to it! Happy Victoria Day Monday! (It's on our calendar. Wonder why.) :-)
Youtube has information on rescuing a girl form a dragon? Cool.
It's a long weekend? Is Monday Memorial Day? My kids probably get that off, huh? Wow, good thing I read blogs. :)
And I say yes to determination! This felt like a locker room pep talk. I'm ready to go get things done now. :)
This is quite the motivational post! I feel like shaking my pom poms in your direction and yelling, "You can do it, yes you can!"
My favorite thing this week is peace. Not that I've found it, but I'm actually seeking it awfully hard and hoping to find it. I feel all spun up and anxious these days, and I know that isn't the best way to live. So I'm praying a lot, because I figure that's the only way I'll find it. My life sure isn't throwing any my way! :)
Good luck with your goals!
I ran four miles, that was pretty good. What position do you play in soccer? I used to be a midfielder.
I am more determined to start exercising and get rid of this weight, too. Laying in bed for a month recovering from surgery didn't help matters!
I'm also determined to nail down my plot for my next novel and get to writing!
I need to follow your example and worry more about exercise and keeping weight off. It is driving me nuts that as I've gotten older, my metabolism wants to slow down so badly.
I've started drinking water this week when I get up. Wow, I didn't realize I was so thirsty at 5 am. Usually I don't have anything to drink (milk) until around 8 am.
My favorite thing was finishing this current round of edits. Now that wip is on vacation for two weeks while I read through the first draft of my YA horror novel. I'm just hoping it reads like a horror novel and not a horrible novel. :)
Have a great weekend, Patti!
I've been more determined to drink water too. Of course, that has its own fun results. =P
...great question, Patti. Here's one, we have a teenage foster daughter who makes a point to challenge our house rules on a daily basis. I'm determined to development the patience needed to deal with that girl without losing the rest of my hair in the process ;)

I'm determined to finish my current read. Oh and I could also do with drinking more water.
Good job with determination! How are you doing with it? Good luck.
I'm determined to go 3 weeks without sweets. I'm four days for 21. Nice!
