Amazing and wondering

Amazing was that Canada vs USA hockey game. Two great teams.

Amazing is that Canada won 14 gold medals. A record for any country at the winter games.

Amazing is that USA won 37. A record for any nation.

Amazing is that I'm not even jealous of that fact because we won 14 gold.

Amazing is that we had our own gold experience, with my son winning the city championship in basketball.

Amazing is that I played my first game of soccer in five months and scored the winning goal (and the only goal)

Amazing would be to find another girl who liked sports as much as me. That would be a kindred spirit indeed.

Amazing is that after reworking my book more times than I can remember, I've just figured out that it needs a new ending.

Wondering why it took so long to figure that out.

Wondering why I always get sick on my days off work.

Wondering if this week will finally be the week I finish painting.

Wondering if I can finish my rewritten ending by tomorrow.

Wondering if I can stop coughing long enough to sleep 8 hours straight.

Wondering if I can handle another Monday, especially now that the Olympics are over.

Wondering if I'll ever get to 100 followers.

Wondering if this post is getting a little annoying.

I think it might be.

Oh Patti, you're so funny. I'm not a huge sports fan so I'm not your kindred spirit, but the fact you used the words "kindred spirit" shows that you are not just any ol' sports gal.

I was disappointed that Canada won, but not too much. It makes it feel better that Crosby scored the goal and to be honest I think Canada will appreciate the gold medal more than the U.S.

I heard that was a great game! And congrats to Canada! There's something so special about playing--and winning--on your own soil (snow)!

Yea Canada! I'm glad everything went well. Congrats to your son and you for the winning/only goal. I'm not your kindred spirit sportsy person either. Sorry, eh. Oh, man. Sorry. I couldn't resist.

Jessie: It's sad when your the only one in your house watching a hockey game (husband was gone)

Paul: They talked about that on the sports show this morning. That USA would have gone home and everyone would of said that was nice, but here it will almost be a national holiday. There saying it's the greatest sports moment ever.

Kristen: Funny thing about the Olympics is that they actually had to bring snow in for Cypress Mtn. because Vancouver was so warm. It totally ruined our reputation.

Lois: Funny thing about Eh is actually only uttered by some easterners. I don't know very many people here in the west who say it.

This post actually made me smile. I actually like these little snippets into your mind. And it is Monday, and yeah, it's not that great. Hang in there!

lol It didn't get annoying. I liked your stream of consciousness type thoughts there. I am amazed at all those things too.

And I think you'll hit 100 soon. :)

I am sure you'll hit 100 followers very soon :) The hockey game was so exciting, wasn't it? I was disappointed at first that the US didn't win, but Canada really deserved to. Both great teams!

Patti, you have a great sense of humor! Love that "wondering" wandery kinda style!

Don't worry about the 100 followers. I'm a follower, though not officially. Should I make it official?

I revised and edited many times too before I figured out the ending needed to be changed!

Actually I thought it was pretty cute! LOL So you're canadian? Somehow I forgot this. Like you, I'd love to find another girl who likes sports as much as I do. :-) I think it's so cool you're into soccer. Congrats on that goal! Very awesome. :-)

I could be your sports girl! Last year I only missed a total of nine A's games through the entire baseball season. We tivoed everything and watched it without commercials. We buy the MLB package, the basketball package (Go Warriors!) and the NHL hockey package every year. The ONLY thing I watch on TV is sports (oh, and Medium). :-)
