I'm coming out of hibernation to let you guys know about another great contest. Marieke interviewed Elana Johnson on how to write a good query letter. For anyone whose struggling, this is some great advice. Also you can win a critique from Elana, who wouldn't want that.
Back to editing.
I don't know about coming out of hibernation - I'm just about to curl up with a good book and my computer, its soooo cold out there and its not yet the end of October.
ReplyDeleteThanks for poking your head out and giving us the news.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up, Patti! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love hibernating. Now if only the day job would cooperate so I could do it...
ReplyDeleteThat was an amazing interview. Elana's also doing an online session tonight. (I'm so techno challenged, I don't even know what to call this.) but check out Elana's site cause she talks about it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Elana Johnson's method. I actually do Nathan Bransford's "query letter madlib" first - it keeps me from falling into writing a short synopses. THEN I go to Elana's setup. She's pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteYay, Elana! She's so frickin' awesome. And the MASTER of queries.
ReplyDeleteElana has great advice. A critique from her would be great.
ReplyDeleteShe is the QUEEN! I shall pop over, I shall. Happy weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteHey, something is wrong with your site in Opera, you should check into it.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks!!
