I haven't even gotten to the synopsis yet. For my next WiP, I'm going to try to write the query up front, but the synopsis will probably have to wait because I won't know all of the details right away.

Congrats on your win and I hope you feel better soon:)Melissa Hursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15530652829980250261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4984184121584258371.post-16037808993260270482010-11-18T10:09:22.934-08:002010-11-18T10:09:22.934-08:00hmm... well, in the last book I wrote, I wrote som...hmm... well, in the last book I wrote, I wrote something like a synopsis first, which I knew would change as I got more into the story. But I *do* think it helped as I had other projects/revisions going... I'd never done it before, and true confession: I *hate* writing synopses. But I think in the beginning when you're all psyched about the story = best time to do it. :o) <3LTMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05239077455322030275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4984184121584258371.post-73683066014522894412010-11-18T09:37:57.984-08:002010-11-18T09:37:57.984-08:00I think after as well. Sounds like you have a very productive week! :)

I have to write the synop after, because even though I faux-outline before, it never takes the path I expect. Even from draft one to draft four, this last one changed drastically.

Still - if you can do it while you're writer, or even before, what a bonus that would be!!Heidi Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18420802651029097379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4984184121584258371.post-86635398967154670222010-11-18T08:12:30.195-08:002010-11-18T08:12:30.195-08:00After, too much changes during the writing process...After, too much changes during the writing process.Southpawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16539290964546504171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4984184121584258371.post-16354497789213292282010-11-18T07:45:54.912-08:002010-11-18T07:45:54.912-08:00That's a good question!I'd have to say aft...That's a good question!I'd have to say after-with a little help from my writing buddies (because synops just sound hard) =)Carolyn V.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15456210036213016603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4984184121584258371.post-85130376373732106442010-11-18T06:53:57.012-08:002010-11-18T06:53:57.012-08:00Hope you're feeling better and glad to know yo...Hope you're feeling better and glad to know you're making progress you're please with!

I can't say a thing about your question.
