5 reasons I know I'm reading a good book

1. My kids have to call me Patti to get my attention

2. My husband announces that the booklore monster is back

3. I suddenly have to go the bathroom a lot

4. I can't sleep at night because my neck hurts too much from reading

5. I sneak out of my mother in law's wedding reception to read a few chapters.

How do you know you're reading a good book?

LOL I love it! In my house the kitchen starts to become a horrid mess from everyone having to fend for themselves.

I know when I stay up late. But I know within the first few pages usually and set the time aside. :)

You mean you try to sleep when you're reading a great book? This is when I skip on that minor detail. ;)

I found a creative way to sneak in more reading time. It's called family reading time. Me and my three kids climb on my bed and everyone has to read a book for 30 minutes. Of course only I can see the clock. And so what if I get caught up in a chapter and we end up reading beyond 30 minutes. :D

The list was great after the first four. The fifth one was the icing on the cake. Delicious!

#1 is SO true! (at least for me). Yeah, keeping the book on me at all times just in case a spare second pops us is an indicator to me. :)

Ha! I can relate. I'm definitely sleep deprived when I'm really into a good book. At 2 a.m., I'm like what's another hour? All sense goes out the window.

I stay up too late and the BF says I've been ignoring him for imaginary people. And I tell him he's correct and I keep reading. ;)

ROFL! That's awesome! My #1 reason is that I have to send my hubby out to pick something up for dinner :)

ROFL!! I love it!!

I tend to burn dinner a lot. And stay up WAYYYYYYYY too late. And gush to everyone who never knew they needed to read that book that yes, indeed, they NEED to read that book!!

Can you spill what book it is you're reading that caused this post? :)

Number five is awesome!!! LOL.

If I can barely stay awake at work the next day because I stayed up too late reading, that's always the sign of a good book!
