You say President's Day – We say Family Day

Happy President's Day to my American blogging friends. We'd have a Prime Minister Day up here in Canada, but it just doesn't sound as good. So, instead we have Family Day (actually only 3 provinces celebrate this and I happen to live in one of them – yeah me).

We plan to spend it enjoying the snow covered mountains. Hope you enjoy your day off wherever you may be.

Catch you all on Wednesday.

That is totally cool. Our President's Day has now become a make-up snow day, so kind of Yay me, I get another day to write.

Have a great time with your family.

We don't have off Presidents Day either because Feb. vacation is next week! Enjoy the day with your family!

Not too sure how well a Prime Minister's Day would be received here in England - a Family Day would be good though. Have a great day.

No day off for me. :-( My daughter has the day off from school, though. Lucky!

I love the handprint image you included. That's so cute. I love the idea of Family Day. That's a holiday I could get behind.

Pretty standard day around here, other than I got to figure out how to write/work around the babies since their school was closed today.
Glad you got to celebrate too!

swinging by from the blogfest, and following to make sure I don't miss any of the good stuff.

Hope you had a great day!

President's day doesn't mean anything to me other than that the banks are closed and there isn't any mail. :0) No day off or special food. :0)

How fun! Maybe a family soccer day?

Our state didn't get president's day off this year because we had to make up the snow days. But my kids were all sick, so I guess we sort of did anyway. ha.

Love the idea of family day! I'm actually home sick with the flu--it started yesterday--so it hasn't been a great President's day for me. Glad to hear yours was much better than mine. :)
