Having a Good Book Day

You know those days when you look in the mirror and say, "Wow, my hair looks awesome today", well, yesterday I had that same experience with my book.

I read through the first four chapters and I thought wow, my book is really good today. In fact I was pretty impressed with myself. I'm hoping to have another good book day tomorrow and the next. But just like hair – it's pretty hard to have a lot of good book days in a row.

How about you? Are you having a good or bad book day?

Love this take on writing and hair- the two major components of my life:)

Good book/good hair days are magical!

Shaky at best, thanks to my now over active internal editor.

It's hard for me to have a whole good book day. It can start out that way and quickly descend into: What a hack am I.

Awww! I do love when that happens. :-)
Not sure how my book day will be today....

Good book day, BAD hair day. I guess I really CAN'T have it all. UGH

Love the comparison, Patti.

I love it! I rarely have good hair days, but I hope to have a lot more "good" book days than "bad" ones.

woohoo!! LOVE good book days!!

I'm having a bad book week. Ready to throw it all away. Except I can't because I have to turn it in for the semester work.

This may turn out to be good.

I'm not sure about today - I haven't read my latest chapter that I need to revise. It'll probably be a bad book day once I do read it. Hopefully that will change after I'm done working on it:)

Hmm. I'd say I'm having an in-between day. I neither like nor hate my book. That's probably because I haven't looked at it for two days because of this darn sinus thing I've got going on...

I just started something new, so I'm in that coy phase where my characters are being shy with me, not giving me too many words. But in terms of whether I like the writing? I love it. So it's a good book day.

I was having a good book day today. But like you said, it's hard to have two good hair days in a row. I'm just hoping that doesn't apply to novels. ;)

Sometimes I have good book days and bad book days.

LOL cute! And yes, I had a good book day today. I'm editing/revising my MS and these first 100 pages were pretty darn good. But then again, my CPs had pretty much looked over these pages. The days ahead are sure to be BAD book days as I foray into the craptastic pages I wrote in my January writing frenzy.

Yay! Good book days are the best!!

For me, I've found lately that I'm rather manic-depressive with my latest WIP.
