Hey there, how you doing?

So last week my goal was to drink more water, which I did.

My other goal was to finish chapter 8 and research more agents. I failed miserably at this. So this week I'm taking a break to see if I can get some stuff done and try to get more motivated.

Goal this week: Finish chapter 8, write chapter 9 and send 4 queries.

How are you doing? Any goals for this week?

Have a good week and talk to you all next Monday.

Um, I failed at the water part, other than having a glass at a restaurant. But that's because they only serve Pepsi and not Coke.

I sent out 6 queries yesterday. :D

Now I just hope they don't all rush and reject me. I want to at least bask in that accomplishment for a bit.

My goals this week are to write at least one poem (something I should have done over the weekend, but didn't.) And to write chapters 7 and 8.

Yeah, I'm off to a slow start. Wish me luck. I still have piles of laundry to do.

Yep--write at least 500 words a day. And participate in a writing sprint on the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood Winter Writing Festival page. :)

My goal is to finish my wip this week! The only reason I might not make it is if we have snow days the next 2 days, which is a great possibility with snow and ice on the forecast!

I've been going through the Plotwhisper's December posts to help with revising. I hope I can finish those and get back to the actual writing part of revising again this week.

My goal is 500k/5days (out of 7). More if possible. I hit my goal today. I’m going to push for more later (after visiting a few blogs ;))

My goal is to turn in my homework and (like you) drink more water. Although doing right before a dentist appointment was not the best idea.

Goal for the week: to write. I have no idea how much or how little. That way I am not disappointed either way. ;-)

Another blogger taught me this: SOC. Simplify, Organize, De-Clutter = Motivation. Just seeing my world neater, I feel more motivated. My goal this week is to complete last revisions on one of my short stories, then start submiting!

Have a great week!! I finished a draft, and now I'm critiquing someone's manuscript.

good job, Patti!! I love how simple and focused your goals are, even if they aren't necessarily easy to keep!

I've nearly cut out soda and coffee, which wasn't a goal since I didn't think I could keep it, but it felt good. :)

I finished both books I had to read for this week. Now I have to write an analysis of each, and begin revisions on my first chapter.

Now I need to get the ice to melt and the kids back in school so I can do it!!

My goal for this week is to remember what my goal is by this time next week. :0)

Ahh the search for elusive motivation. I can never find mine! It has all the best hiding places.

Um, yeah, I need to drink more water, but I'm usually glued to my computer. The point of NOT having water AT my computer is so I'll get up and stretch...not sure that's working. Haha. Good luck with your goals for this week!

Hey Patti, I've passed on an award to you today; you get to choose one out of two. Come by to fetch the image to post on your blog:

My goals are to finish another chapter in my WIP and try not to freak out about the querying process too much. :) Good luck with your goals!

I failed my Patti diet goal. :(

My goal this week is to NOT fail my Patti diet goal and to begin organizing my thoughts and character building for my next project.

Have a great weekend, Patti!

I've been failing pretty miserably at some of my goals as well. :) But, keep going forward, right? I'll do better next week.

I need to set me some small goals rather than just the big ones..

I want to finish editing one of my wips.

I'd love to kick the soda habit and drink more water.
