Eyes

Over the past few years I've been very susceptible to eye infections. My eye lids get droppy, bad stuff builds up in the corners, and I have to go without make up. It's very scary. Not the infection, but how I look without eye liner. I've been to see a few specialists, but nothing major is wrong so that's good.

On Tuesday I had my eyes dilated. I'd like to think that I was cute and looked like this.

But I looked more like this, a little freaky.

My eyes were super sensitive, all writing was blurry, and I had to wear sunglasses afterward for about three hours. So I wore my sunglasses as I shopped in Costco and had my sister with me to read the labels since I couldn't tell if the capris I was looking at were a large or a medium.
Why did I tell you this? For no particular reason except now you got to know me just a little bit more and to maybe give you a chuckle as you picture me walking around Costco with sunglasses like some kind of diva.

Puss in Boots! Still like Donkey more, though. ;)

Here's to good eyes! Hope you can keep from those nasty infections for a while.

You're brave venturing out after that! I always feel half-blind when they do that.

My daughter gets those eye infections. I know it's not fun. I hate to laugh at your expense, but I am giggling at the image of you parading around like a diva.

I've been there. Exactly there. Walking around Coscto in sunglasses because I couldn't see.

Eyes suck.

I can't see you as a diva. =) I used to get eye infections all the time, but one day they just stopped. I hope they stay away (for both you and me)!

Diva, could you like, uh, er, take your entry out of the Shooting Stars contest? I mean, I would really like it if you did. *grin*

Happy weekend. =)

Hah! My husband has sensitive eyes and wears sunglasses everywhere, so I don't think you're weird. :)

Hope the dilated pupils went away quickly!

Oh, MYYY, Patti! Two weeks ago this Sunday, I got a floater in my right eye to match the surgically repaired tear in my left eye. Have had my eyes dilated FOUR times since that Sunday, waiting to see if another surgery is needed.

Been there so often, I take my coffee cup and make business calls!!!

The picture of the dilated eye is eerie...

Not fun! But at least you got to look cool. ;)

I have something for you on my blog.

I thought I commented earlier, but I guess I just read. I have an eye appt coming up. I don't like that they dilate your eyes and then send you out on the road-and your dashboard is all fuzzy. I love Puss in Boots. Did you know they are coming out with a FINAL Shrek?

I would never consider you a Diva!

Maybe an elitist? (j/k) :)

People were probably looking at you trying to figure out what celebrity was hiding from the paparazzi. ;)
