What I need to do today?

Today I need to not be afraid of change.

Today I need to believe I can do it.

Today I need to write some new words.

Today I need to exercise.

Today I need to finish reading my book one more time.

Today I need to read with my daughter.

Today I need to write a query letter.

Today I need to have a hot bath.

Today I need to wear my glasses when I'm on the computer.

Today I need to finish reading my crit partners book.

Today I need to paint.

Today I need to say 'Yes I can' instead of 'There's no way'

Okay wait, I just read through my list again, what I really need is more time.

I think I'll change this post to What I need to do today or tomorrow or maybe next week.

A friend and I send each other a List every more of just five things we want to accomplish in a day...
So your list is terrifying :D I commend your 'To Do' achievement goals.

Read your crit partners book while in the hot bath. Her awesomeness will inspire you to write your query, which can be accomplished by the recently relaxed you. You can also read the story to your daughter and cross that out. Or not.

What a fabulous list! And yes, you need a timeturner for all that! But I know you'll find a way.

LOL! I'm tired after reading your list. I may need a nap to recover.

I believe in you, Patti. You CAN do it! :-)

Jess: I have a tendency to list everything I have to do then get so overwhelmed I don't do any of it.

Jonathan: Multi tasking, great idea.

Cammie: Glad I'm not alone on this busy day.

Southpaw: I don't know what I'd do without a bathtub.

Elana: A timeturner would be wonderful about now, although how did Hermonie get any sleep.

Shannon: A nap, I knew I forgot something.

Eeke! You're reminding me of everything I still need to do (like the laundry on my couch).

Hope you have a nice day! LOL

Jessica: At least your laundry is on the couch. Mine's sitting outside my dryer.

Carolyn: Time is the ultimate need.

Catherine: Thanks.

My today list is something like this: Today I need to shower. Today I need to drink. Today I need to eat.

A fabulous list! I love writing lists so I can at least check some things off and know I did them, even if not all of them.

When I had a newborn, I felt like I wasn't accomplishing anything anymore. So I started writing down what I DID do instead of what I SHOULD do. The list looked something like: changed 12 diapers, read six books, rocked baby for two hours and kept him from crying, sang twelve lullabies, went on a walk, washed dishes five times, nursed baby eight times... etc.

By the end of the day I realized they might not have been huge things to me, but they were huge to him, and I actually did A LOT!! :)

Jen:Thanks for coming by. It's always great to meet new people.

Jessie: All good to do's. Better than me I didn't shower.

Ali: I'm still trying hard to embrace change, I had moments of believing, I wrote 300 new words, didn't exercsie, but I painted, Didn't read, Wrote the query, no hot bath, wore my glasses, Sorry Lois didn't get to book, that's on today's list. Did I mention I painted. Had a few moments of "there's no way"

Heidi: I used to do that to. I think I should revert to that method.

Me thinks I would have a pretty good list going for today, too.
Good accomplishing it all. :)

Minus the query letter (i'm not far enough for that yet) I think my list is the same as yours.

Kinda' gives reason to the term A day is as a thousand years to The Lord, doesn't it? Oh, that we could have those thousand years, each day, to accomplish all that we want to accomplish.

Patti,
That list would take me A WEEK at least.

You look much younger than me, other Patti, and certainly more energetic!!!

May God work you through this, in His order!!
